Help us support local cancer services and join us for 7B Women’s Third Annual Boobs and Beer: 5K Fun Run and Beer Fest. Combining a 5K on the Sand Creek Trail and an Oktoberfest reception atMickDuff's Brewing Co. Beer Hall, this event will raise funds for Celebrate Life and Community Cancer Services. Support the Boobs, Drink the Beer.
It's here...the third annual Boobs 'n Beer Fun Run and Oktoberfest is set for Sunday, September 30th (rain or shine). Our name may be cheeky but our dedication to the cause is real. This year we're thrilled to be partnering with MickDuff's to bring racers an even better (and bigger) event. Last year you helped us raise $17,500 for Community Cancer Services and Celebrate Life, two amazing organizations that do so much to help those affected by cancer in our community.
Didn't attend the event last year? Here's the scoop:
It all begins with a 5k Fun Run on the Sandcreek trail (race begins at 11 am). Costumes are highly encouraged. Celebrate breast cancer awareness month by sporting head to toe pink or embrace the Oktoberfest theme and break out the lederhosen. After the race we all head over to MickDuff's Beer Hall for Oktoberfest. For those 21 and older your race registration includes a beer (how cool is that?) and a portion of all beers sold goes back to the cause. Grab lunch from one of the three food trucks on site, sit back and relax with friends as you listen to live music, 20 Grand Funk. Have kiddos? no problem, this year we're bringing back the Kid's Zone with face painting and bounce houses.
Online registration closes Friday, September 28th at 5 pm. $40 for adults and $10 for kids 12 and under. Those wishing to register after that time may register in person on Saturday, September 29th from 3-5 pm at MickDuff's Beer Hall or on Sunday, September 30th from 9-10:30 am at Sandpoint City Beach. Late registration is $50 for adults and $15 for Kids 12 and under.
Refund Policy: Once paid, race registrations are non-refundable. However, we realize that things come up, should you be unable to attend the race you may choose to transfer your registration to another racer up to seven days before the event. Please note we are not able to guarantee shirt sizes for transferred registrations. If you do not wish to transfer your registration your fee will be donated to Community Cancer Services and Celebrate Life.

community cancer services
Also known as Heather's House was founded in 2002 by a group of local citizens whose mission was to provide support to local cancer patients, families, and caregivers.
Since then they have grown to provide many services including counseling and support groups facilitated by licensed social workers, financial assistance through travel vouchers, and help with medical co-pays and loaned durable goods, just to name a few.
